Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
These terms govern your use of lighthillconsulting.ca (the "Site"), operated by Lighthill Consulting ("Lighthill", "we", "us"), a consulting practice based in Ontario, Canada. By using the Site you accept these terms.
1. The Site is informational
Content on the Site — including descriptions of services, case studies, and results achieved for past clients — is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, and past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Nothing on the Site creates a client relationship with Lighthill.
2. Engagements are governed by their own agreements
Consulting services are provided under separate written or otherwise agreed engagement terms (a proposal, statement of work, or services agreement). If those terms conflict with anything on this page, the engagement terms prevail for that engagement.
3. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, design, and graphics — belong to Lighthill or its licensors. Client names and logos appear with permission and belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce Site content for commercial purposes without written permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure;
- scrape or harvest content or data from the Site at scale without permission;
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
5. Third-party links and platforms
The Site links to third-party websites (including client sites and platform providers such as Meta and Google). We are not responsible for their content or their practices. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.
6. No warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighthill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site. Our total liability in connection with the Site is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
